By non-invasively providing accurate quantitative information about cutaneous oxygenation and perfusion, the TCM400 monitor is a valuable diagnostic tool for the assessment of:

• Critical limb ischemia
• Wound care treatment
• Optimal amputation level
• Post surgery wound healing evaluation
• Hyperbaric oxygen treatment
• Free flap survival

Transcutaneous oxygen tension (tcpO₂) provides information on the oxygen supply to the tissue, so any changes in oxygen uptake, transport or release will be reflected by the tcpO₂ value. In case of circulatory problems, peripheral vasoconstriction in the skin occurs before major organs suffer.
